because of consumerism, you can't survive on food alone.
i supplement with the following when i have the money:
Multivitamin (because food quality sucks) Calcium and Vitamin D Creatine Ethyl Esther (because meat quality sucks) Protein Powder (because protein quality sucks) Enervon HP (for easy high carbohydrate and mineral intake)

You wouldn't want to go that path due to it's side effects. Steroid use is also illegal and it would also suck being caught and suspended from fighting.
btw, every 4 months, I also cycle my supplements with beta alanine, ecsdysterone, bcaa and cortisol blokers most specially when I have last minute fights where I need to make weight.

isn't there a proper way to use steroids? i'm sherdog's march conditioning champion. probably because of my early lung steroid use.

Hmmm, not sure, but I guess you're talking about cycling it? As for those who cycle, they normally use milk thistle to clean up their system(mainly liver?) for a month or two then go back to roids. Just my take on it, the side effects are too many and therefore risky. I'm just a firm believer on the good old fashioned 'hard work'

there's also this issue about the testicles. i don't know about any of you, but i'm not about to risk the family jewels for a little strength boost. so here's what i think. use your steroids when you reach your full potential. when you are able to max yourself out. but until then, get your fat lazy ass to the gym.
