1. hey, we've all been hit. but there is that one shot we will never forget. that one shot that that opened up a whole new world of pain, or hopelessness, or fear. that one shot that probably changed your life. tell us all about it.

2. battle scars. some avoid them. some carry them with pride. reminders of former wars fought. memorabilia. do you have any?

1. that's the reason I dont want to join competitions. .. I hate being hit in the face. .. I mean in "real fight" ha.. in sparring (for experience) ok lang siguro.. but in real fight. .NO. .. though I know that in a "street fight" you cannot say na di ka tatamaan sa muka.. (though u should know how to dodge always)

I am really scared.. minsan lang mababasag teeth or ilong ko. .hehe

2. if  body scars from sparring.. no problem.. but scars on the face because of sparring.. no way Smiley

I've had a concussion due to a grappling match. But it wasn't a permanent one. Though it really hurt a lot.
how'd that happen?

life changing event. i once sparred in boxing. the guy's brother was a WBF champ, and another was a PABA champ. he had heavy hands. got nailed right on the jaw with a left hook. it didn't hurt. it didn't even daze me. but my right knee straightened, locked, and froze, and i just fell to one knee. like a jolt of electricity running through your leg.

another time i sparred with him (he already went pro), i smashed my face square in the middle of a right straight. now i remember talking clearly, but both my legs felt like rubber as i held on to the ropes. i was literally supporting my body with nothing but my arms. i was glassy-eyed, and i don't remember much of what happened. what i remember is that my head hurt like hell after. and they say you shouldn't sleep when you have a concussion, so...

this is the main reason why i don't want joining competitions or whatsoever. sparring siguro pwede pa. i did not studied IT just to let my face hit . . .i mean i am earning enough naman. tama na yung nag ttrain ako for added fitness and of course self defense.  . .you may be a champion in dodging punches and blocking kicks. . but there is always someone better than you, ,
