Not really familiar with brands but if you want something that'll last, go high-end. You won't regret it. I've had my gloves for four years and they still haven't given up on me.

what brand are you using? how much and where did you bought it?

I have Twins boxing gloves which I bought at K-1 around four years ago at 2k I think. They're not exactly grappling gloves, but they've never flaked out on me.

oh ic. .. i also have a 2nd hand twins boxing gloves Smiley got it for 700php Cheesy and buo pa sya. .. may scratches lang sa logo area.. also have windy gloves... maybe in time i will get a windy mma gloves and a fairtex boxing gloves

MMA gloves:

SMASH: used in URCC 1. if you're on a tight budget, it's better than no protection at all. straps are easily undone.

BULLS: affordable. used in current URCC competitions. a little uncomfortable after a few full-blown strikes on the bag. little finger protection, particularly the thumb. dye kind of rubs off on your skin.

SHOTOO: good for training. a LOT of padding on the knuckles. looks ridiculous.

WINDY: average price for MMA gloves. great price-to-quality. also a tad uncomfortable, but does provide adequate protection. also quite bad-ass to look at.

TWINS: higher-priced than WINDY, but more or less the same quality. haven't tried it yet.

FAIRTEX: expensive brand. great protection, very sexy to look at, and it feels so good on the hands. if you've got the money, i'd recommend this brand.
