The reason for the Killing is link to a report that this former Nat'l Team Member(member of the Phil. Army) want's to court a female Nat'l Team Member which Mr. Valdez and the Muay Thai Coaching Staff had vehemently oppose. This enrage the killer and shot Mr. Valdez.

His spirit has touched a lot during its tenure in this plane. May he rest in peace.

His successor will definitely have a hard time stepping up the huge shadow he's cast. What will become of MAP now?

The day of his death was a very sad day for the Martial Arts Community. My condolences to his family and to the MAP guys.

He will definitely be missed.
